Cross Layout

Cross Layout

Difficulty: Easy

The Cross Spread is good for questions asking for advice. It can also be used to determine the meaning of a confusing domino from a previous reading, or for that matter, to shed light on other points of confusion.

In questions asking advice, this layout is self-explanatory. The main thing is to determine the difference between dominoes #2 and #3. #1 is the topic and #4 is the result.

In questions regarding confusion, such as: "What was the meaning of Domino (X) in the last layout?" the main thing is also to determine the difference between dominoes #2 and #3. In this case, #2 will show what the domino was not referring to, and Domino #3 will show what was really meant. Domino #1 is the topic and #4 represents the purpose it serves.

It Deals with This

Blank/One (OM/DHI)

A fresh chapter in your life is about to unfold, bringing a wealth of new opportunities. This is a time for you to step forward and embrace new challenges. If you stay true to your values and act with integrity, success will come. The path ahead may seem uncertain, but your strength of character will be your guide. Don't shy away from taking the first step—this is a chance to begin a new journey, one that will lead to personal and spiritual growth.

Do NOT Do This

Blank/Blank (OM/OM)

The Double Blank is one of the most powerful dominoes in the game. It symbolises a turning point in life, often indicating a significant shift in destiny. This domino is associated with fate, karma, and divine intervention, suggesting that a series of events beyond your control are about to unfold. New opportunities will present themselves, and you are mentally and spiritually prepared to seize them. However, if drawn in a single-domino reading, this domino advises patience—ask the question again at a later time.

The Good Field which Increases Happiness

This pair is known as 'the wish-fulfilling cow' and is a symbol of growth and happiness. However, it also suggests that a recent setback may have thrown you off course, possibly due to external negative influences. While it may seem like an evil spirit has interfered, these obstacles were necessary for your development. Sometimes, life presents challenges to prepare you for greater strides forward. Embrace the lesson of resilience, knowing that the detours were part of a larger, more beneficial journey.

Three/Five (TSA/PA): The Demon of Afflictions

The Boiling Agitation

A turbulent sign, this pairing indicates significant emotional unrest and the threat of external disruptions, such as enemies or legal battles. You feel attacked, whether by malicious gossip, deceit, or even black magic. The source of this disturbance lies in negative, combative energy—perhaps stemming from quarrels or environments where negativity breeds. Now is the time to confront these sources, address conflicts, and settle unresolved disputes. You must also channel your negative emotions into positive action. Performing rituals such as creating yellow clay stupas or honouring sacred deities will help restore balance and ward off further harm.
